Beginning tomorrow, U.S. government officials said, products such as medicines, shampoo, hand lotion, baby foods and lip gloss will be allowed through airport security checkpoints if they are carried in small containers (three ounces or less) and sealed in clear, quart-sized zip-top bags.
I have a really long plane ride coming up in just a few weeks. Thought I’d have to sneak a glob of Chapstick on the plane by sticking it in my belly button.
Here’s just an excerpt from the national Impeach Bush movement on why City Council resolutions are important:
Most City Council members take an oath of office promising to “protect and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic.” They don’t take an oath to fix potholes. If the Constitution is in danger, then their primary duty is to defend it. If it is safe, and they have time on their hands, then they can fix potholes.
We set up an information table at the Durham Farmers’ Market last Saturday and got pages and pages full of signatures, just from being there for an hour and a half! (See the picture, below!)
